You’ve been strong for everyone, every day.

And it’s wearing you down.

And that’s okay because it isn’t about getting to the end. Here’s the truth: parenting a child with autism isn’t a marathon. Marathons have maps, relief stations, and finish lines.

This journey doesn’t.

It’s about learning how to ride the roller coaster of twists and turns without burning yourself out.

You don't need to “fix” your child.

You’ve spent years researching, advocating, and adjusting plans—chasing every possible way to make things better.

You’ve handled more meltdowns, school meetings, and medication changes than you can count.
But the constant vigilance is taking a toll.

And know you are wondering how to keep going at this pace, and what happens if you can't.

You need someone who’s been there—in the autism parenting trenches—to help you steady yourself first.

So you can stop reacting from fear and start leading from confidence.

When my 10-year old son was melting down, I took his behaviors personally and reacted to them.

Lisa helped me change my mindset about my son's behaviors and shift my responses, so that I could help my son when he was struggling, instead of spiraling in shame and reactivity."

"When I found Lisa, I was at my wit's end. Burnt out, I wasn't able to relax & have fun

I just wasn’t a pleasant person to be around. Working with Lisa, I really felt like I was speaking with a veteran. She knew what to say, she had all the practical, correct answers, and she challenged my thoughts in a way that was really productive. Now, I’m able to be more present for my son and we were able to have more fun together. I’m able to just relax and let loose a little bit, and I feel more positive about myself."

Jamie D.

"Before working with Lisa, I was depressed and run down. I was at my lowest.

It was feeling endless—I was thinking, 'I gotta do something about this cause this is not gonna end well for anybody.' Lisa really changed my mindset of how to understand the situation that I was in instead of just crawling under a rock because of it.  Now, I know how to redirect better. I know how to help him through it, and I don't take it personal anymore.”

Cindy D.

“With Lisa, it was really focused on action steps.

Every week we would walk through another strategy and talk about what was going on. Lisa was right there every step of the way with me saying, ‘do this, ask this, this is who you need to call.’ Lisa has changed my life in so many ways—as a person, as a friend, as a mom, even as a teacher. She's made a difference in every facet of my life."

"Lisa taught me how to respond to my child’s behaviors and my own stress differently."

Breaking the Cycle of Fear and Fixing

When Meghan came to coaching, she described herself as being at rock bottom.

She had tried everything — therapy, behavior plans, endless research — but still felt helpless and out of control when her 15-year-old daughter melted down.

Her reactivity often made things worse.

She’d panic at the first sign of distress, her anxiety immediately visible to her daughter.

This fear-driven response created a feedback loop of escalating stress: the more anxious Meghan became, the more dysregulated her daughter grew.

That cycle is now broken.

Through coaching, Meghan learned how to steady her nervous system first — to regulate before reacting.

Her calm, confident presence now acts as a circuit breaker. Meltdowns resolve faster. Recovery comes sooner.

And the change goes beyond moments of crisis.

By managing her own emotions instead of fearing her daughter’s, Meghan models healthy coping strategies and gives her daughter space to process big feelings without trying to fix them.

This is the ripple effect of coaching: when one person regulates, the whole system recalibrates.

FAQ

This coaching is for autism moms who are high-functioning on the outside and exhausted on the inside.

You’re a good fit if you:
  • Hold everything together for everyone else but feel like you’re running on fumes.
  • Want to respond differently when your child melts down—but can’t seem to stop reacting.
  • Are done collecting information and ready to build real skills you can use in the moment.
  • Want to move beyond survival mode and lead your family with calm authority.
  • Are open to looking at your own thoughts, patterns, and nervous system—not as blame, but as the path to change.

You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need to be ready to start working from your side of the fence.
Therapy helps you process and understand. Coaching gives you actionable tools you can use immediately.

In therapy, you talk about your feelings. In coaching, we act on them—building crisis protocols, teaching real-time regulation skills, and creating step-by-step systems for meltdowns, IEPs, and daily overwhelm.

Many of my clients do both. Therapy supports emotional processing; coaching provides practical execution.
ABA and child therapies focus on your child’s behavior.

This coaching focuses on you—your nervous system, your thoughts, and how you respond when things get hard.

We’re not tracking behaviors or milestones. We’re focusing on how to stay calm, clear, and effective while you implement the plans you already have.
I know it feels counterintuitive, but making time for yourself and this work will actually give you time back.

Think about how much time you already spend spinning in second guessing, guilt, and “what ifs.” That’s hours of energy on repeat with zero return. Coaching helps you redirect that energy toward decisions, boundaries, and habits that bring relief and forward movement.
Each session is a mix of teaching, coaching, and planning centered on what’s happening in your real life right now.

We might unpack a recent meltdown, prepare for an IEP meeting, or map out how to handle daily stress points like mornings or transitions.

I’ll teach you regulation tools, help you recognize the thoughts driving your reactions, and create step-by-step plans that work for your family.
Every session ends with a clear takeaway and a plan for what to practice between sessions.

Let me start with what I’m not—I’m not a therapist, behavioral specialist, or doctor.

What I bring is a combination of lived experience and professional training. I’ve spent 18 years parenting a child with severe autism—researching, reading, attending courses, and learning everything I could about behavior, regulation, and support.

I’m a certified life coach with continuing education in grief and nervous system regulation. For the past 5 years, I’ve coached nearly 100 autism moms through meltdowns, school issues, hospitalizations, and the everyday realities of this life.

Yes. This coaching is about you—the person living this life, not just the parent managing it. We’ll work on anything that impacts your ability to stay regulated and show up as the parent you want to be.

I’ve coached moms navigating partner communication, workplace stress, and friendships that feel complicated or painful.

Everything connects back to your capacity to stay grounded. When you shift how you respond, everything else around you begins to shift too.
That’s exactly why you have 24/7 access.

Between sessions, you’ll connect with me through the Circle app, where you can message anytime for coaching, questions, or support.

You don’t have to wait a week to talk things through.

Depending on the situation—and my availability—I may also jump on a quick call to help you regroup and create a plan in real time. You’re never left to manage it alone.
Here are some of the shifts my client have experienced:

Doing things for yourself without the guilt.
Pausing before reacting.
Setting and holding boundaries—even when it’s uncomfortable.
No longer taking your child’s behaviors so personally. (Instead, you’ll start seeing this as information.)
Catching the spiral before it takes over. (You’ll notice when your body is sliding into dysregulation and know how to pull yourself back.)
Feeling more confident and capable—not because everything changes, but because you do.
First, we’ll hop on a call to get clear on what’s happening for you, what you want to change, and whether coaching together is the right fit.

If we both decide to move forward, I’ll send a follow-up email with a recap and a secure Stripe link to complete your enrollment. You can pay by bank account or credit card.

Once your package is confirmed, you’ll receive the scheduling link to book your first session and immediate access to the Circle app for ongoing support between calls.

Keep in mind, coaching is not a medical or therapeutic service, so it isn’t covered by insurance.

“Coaching with Lisa has allowed me time and space to commit to myself. A place to dig deep, learn my triggers, identify feelings and create new messaging for myself.

I am so grateful I gave myself this opportunity. I can breathe. And wow does it feel good.”
